  • HOW do you keep yourself and others safe on the internet?
  • HOW do your parents keep you safe when you are online?

  • WHAT rights and responsibilities need to be respected

when you connect to stories, information, ideas and others online?

  1. Hi Miss Nadja,

HOW do you keep yourself and others safe on the internet?

You don’t use inappropriate language on the internet. Always remember YAPPY. Don’t give out personal information because you would never know what they would do with it.

HOW do your parents keep you safe when you are online?

Let your parents know that you are going online. Your parents might not allow you to go on specific sites but when you see something that is not right, you should always tell an adult.

  2. Hello here it is from Jessica 3/4 M.
On the internet you must not tell were you live were you go to school and what is you first and last name.

    1. Way to go Jessica T! Keep the personal stuff private to keep yourself and your details safe.

  3. Hello Miss Nadja!!!
What I know about the internet? I know that when you are on the internet you must respect others just like you would like others to treat you, never tell your password to anyone (even your best friend), ask permission from your parents or an adult and tell an adult if there is a pop up or a problem.

  4. Hi Miss Nadja!
When we connect to stories, information, ideas and others online we need to change up a few things because it is not our own work. I believe this is called plagiarism.

    1. Hello Viviane! It is not just about changing things [by putting things into your own words]; it is about acknowledging – naming – whose idea story info it is and where you got it from. Remind me next time we are in the library to talk more on ownership/copyright.
